The People Behind Gestaléttir

We are an Icelandic–Thai family with nearly two decades of experience in the hospitality industry.

Most of that time was spent in South Iceland, where we worked across many areas of hospitality, from maintenance and day-to-day operations to the management of guest accommodation.

In 2026, we made the decision to relocate to Thailand with our children to spend more time with family and experience a new chapter of life.

That transition inspired us to use our hospitality experience in a new way — and Gestaléttir was born.

Our goal is to help accommodation providers make better use of Booking.com through the knowledge and practical experience we have gained over the years.
